Totally Locally Macclesfield held its first event in May 2024, and they didn't shy away from the hard work! Their first event would be a Clothes Show, held at Macclesfield Silk Museum, attended by more than 60 guests and VIPS, backed by independent business sponsors in the town and supported by the Town Council.

Mayor Sandy Livingstone on the catwalk of the very first Macclesfield Clothes Show. He was sporting a Blackwatch Tartan poncho, handmade by Brian Painter of Modern Woolfare. This was Mayor Livingstones first official engagement as Mayor, and the Totally Locally Macclesfield team couldn't have been more proud.
